Welcome to Housify. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you visit https://housify.live, create an account, post or browse property listings, send inquiries, or otherwise use our services (the “Services”).

By using Housify, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. Where consent is required under applicable law, we will ask for it separately (for example, for optional marketing emails or precise location).

We designed this Policy to be clear for everyday users while meeting expectations commonly applied by privacy regulators, app stores, and identity providers such as Google Sign-In.

Housify — Pakistan (online real estate marketplace operated from Pakistan)

We collect information you provide, information created when you use the Services, and limited information from devices and partners.

We use personal data to:

• Create and manage accounts, and authenticate sign-in (including Google or other OAuth providers you choose)
• Verify or review agent and listing activity to protect the marketplace
• Publish, host, and display property listings and images you submit
• Enable inquiries, notifications, and customer support
• Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents
• Process package/credit requests and featured listing promotions
• Send service notifications (for example inquiry alerts or listing status)
• Send marketing communications only where allowed and consistent with your preferences
• Personalize recommendations such as similar homes or recently viewed listings
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines
• Improve performance, accessibility, and product features

Depending on your location and the activity, we rely on one or more of the following bases:

• Contract — to provide the Services you request (account, listings, inquiries)
• Legitimate interests — to secure the platform, prevent fraud, improve products, and communicate important service updates, balanced against your rights
• Consent — where required (for example optional marketing, certain cookies, or precise location)
• Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose information to comply with Pakistani law or lawful requests

Housify does not sell your personal data.

• Account profile — while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance
• Listings and images — while published and for a period after removal to handle disputes, fraud review, or legal claims
• Messages and inquiries — for customer support and marketplace integrity, then deleted or anonymized according to our schedules
• Logs and security records — typically for shorter operational windows unless needed for investigations
• Deletion requests — we aim to complete verified deletion within the timeline described on the Data Deletion Request page, subject to legal exceptions

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including:

• Encrypted transport (HTTPS) for Housify websites and APIs
• Hashed credentials and industry-standard authentication via our auth provider
• Access controls and least-privilege practices for staff and systems
• Monitoring for abuse, suspicious sign-ins, and platform misuse
• Regular review of permissions and dependency updates

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. In summary:

• Essential — sign-in session, security, load balancing, fraud prevention
• Functional — remembering preferences such as city or view mode

Housify is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Housify is operated for users in Pakistan. Some infrastructure or vendors may process data in other countries. Where transfers occur, we take steps consistent with applicable law and vendor contracts to protect your information (for example contractual safeguards and access controls).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an in-app banner or email) when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy where permitted by law.
